Bennett Engineering Ltd is a long-established engineering company manufacturing a varied range of products for numerous companies since 1959

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience with various machining processes. This role involves operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

We work a 32hr, 4 day working week as we believe in a greater work life balance, 08:00am-12:00pm : 12:30pm-16:30pm Monday to Thursday + optional overtime as required

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines, including milling and lathe equipment, to manufacture parts according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to set up machining operations accurately. Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance. Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly and finishing processes. Conduct quality checks using basic math skills to measure dimensions and tolerances of finished products. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proficiency in CAD software is highly desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery. Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred.
