Due to continual growth and investment, and with the arrival of a new machine we have a new position available.

The candidate will work to ensure the efficient and effective running of Gall Engineering's CNC machine's, ensuring delivery of a first-class service to our client's requirements, maintaining the highest quality and the lowest cost solution. The candidate will work in a team and achieve on-time delivery which is critical, therefore planning and time-keeping are essential elements to this role.

The CNC Machinist must have a sound machining background, confident in programming Integrex CNC and/or mills and lathes to a high level. Working with extremely tight tolerances and have a "right first time" work ethic. The incumbent must be extremely hand's on, operating the machines, trouble-shoot when required and ensure internal and client deadlines are met.

Job knowledge and Experience

4+ year's proven experience as a CNC Machinist,

Experienced in reading and writing programs in ISO (G-code) and using conversational software.

Tool selection and planning experience.

Excellent mechanical aptitude.

High level inspection skills using measuring equipment.

Proven work ethic.

Training and mentoring skills

Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work unsupervised while clearly executing instructions.

High awareness on QHSE requirements.

Valid driver's licence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive depending on Experience

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Monday to Friday - 0800 - 1630 (can be flexible) Overtime (1.5 x hourly rate) - Available and Encouraged
