We are seeking a CNC Miller to join us in our very busy Sub-contract Precision Engineering company. We are looking for someone with a minimum of setting experience to join our team of engineers working on 5 axis Matsuura, 5, 4 and 3 axis Haas machines and our recently purchased - December 25 - Brother BT30 mill.
We operate in diverse industries from Aerospace through to Agriculture and everything in between, machining complex components in a variety of materials, leading to a wide variety of projects and components to be involved in. Programming is completed using Feature Cam.
On top of the 9 CNC mills, we run a total of 35 CNC machines. As a company we recently made a number of significant investments in two new twin spindle lathes, a laser scanner for inspection as well as the Brother Mill, with more new equipment set to arrive in the spring of 2026 we are looking for someone to join us in our ambitious company.

Renumeration will be experience dependent.
Duties
Set up and operate CNC machinery, ensuring accurate execution of programmes.
Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling machines using CAD/CAM software.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce precise components.
Adjust machine parameters and troubleshoot issues during production runs.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Select appropriate tooling and materials based on project requirements.
Conduct quality checks on finished parts to meet strict tolerances.
Collaborate with the production team to improve manufacturing processes.
Experience
Proven experience of setting CNC mills unsupervised is the minimum experience requirement, however proficiency in programming will be seen as a real benefit.
Proficiency with CAD software was also be advantageous.

Pay: 13.00-18.00 per hour
