We have 4 vacancies in our Precision Engineering Workshop which specialises primarily in the Aerospace Sector:

2 for a CNC Miller (Fanuc, Mazak, or Heidenhain) (Permanent Days or permanent nights available, up to 18.76 an hour for days, and up to 25 an hour for nights)

2 for a CNC Turner (Fanuc or Mazak) (Permanent night shift or permanent days, up to 25.00 an hour, up to 18.76 for days only)

Programming skills would be highly advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling or turning machines to produce precision components. Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues. Utilize hand tools and welding techniques as needed for assembly. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and adhere to safety standards. Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet specifications and standards.

Summary

As a CNC Miller or Turner, you will be essential in the precision machining of components, reporting to the Production Manager. Your role focuses on utilizing your mechanical knowledge and premium skills in fabrication, milling, and CAD to produce high-quality parts. You will also leverage your experience with programmable logic controllers and SolidWorks to enhance production efficiency. With relevant skills in tooling, materials handling, and basic maths, you will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards. Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of CNC machinery Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD for design and fabrication Experience with programmable logic controllers and tooling Skilled in milling processes and materials handling Familiarity with hand tools, welding, and basic math principles Previous experience in assembly and warehouse environments
