Company Overview

We are a well-established subcontract machine shop specialising in precision engineering for a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to join our team on a permanent basis.

As a CNC Miller Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components to customer specifications. You will work with a variety of materials and batch sizes in a dynamic and flexible workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications Creating and adjusting CNC programs using Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Siemens controls Ensuring components are manufactured to the highest quality standards Performing first-off inspections and in-process checks Collaborating with the production team to optimise manufacturing processes Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter, Operator, Programmer Proficiency with at least one of the following control systems:

Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Siemens

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality Flexible and proactive approach to work

Desirable

Experience in a subcontract precision engineering environment Familiarity with a variety of materials and complex components
