CNC Milling Programmer - Thirsk, North Yorkshire

Salary:

40,000 - 50,000 per year (depending on experience)

Full-time, permanent

Working Hours:

Day shifts (Monday to Friday)

Main Responsibilities:

Program CNC milling machines, primarily HAAS, using HyperMill and/or Fusion 360 Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machinery to produce accurate components Read and interpret technical drawings and 3D CAD models with precision Perform in-process inspections to verify quality and dimensional accuracy Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflows and improve efficiency

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven experience in CNC programming, preferably with HAAS machines Proficient in CAD/CAM software, ideally HyperMill and/or Fusion 360 Confident in reading engineering drawings and working with 3D models Strong understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and quality standards Detail-oriented with a commitment to manufacturing high-quality parts
