CNC Miller

to join our growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to work with advanced equipment in a clean, well-organised facility where quality and precision are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

Set, operate and program CNC Milling machines (Fanuc/Heidenhain/other controls-amend as required). Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and tooling instructions. Produce precision components to tight tolerances. Perform in-process inspections using appropriate measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges). Maintain high standards of housekeeping and machine upkeep. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets. Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment. Ability to program/edit at the machine (or willingness to learn). Strong understanding of engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tooling. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

Experience with multi-axis machining. Apprenticeship or formal engineering qualification (NVQ, BTEC, HNC). Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
