Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC/Miller Programmer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will need experience in Prototrak/Siemens/Fanuc and Winmax and will be responsible for developing, programming, and optimising CNC machines to produce high-quality components. Duties

Set up CNC machines, including milling and other machining equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and alignment. Operate CNC machinery to produce high quality components according to technical drawings and specifications. Adjust programmes as necessary to optimise machining processes, improve efficiency, and maintain quality standards. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment. Handle materials safely, including loading raw materials and managing tooling requirements. Utilise hand tools and basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks. Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience in CNC/Milling and materials handling within a engineering/manufacturing setting. Proficiency in Prototrak/Siemens/Fanuc and Winmax. Strong mechanical knowledge related to tooling, fixtures, and programming Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Competence in using hand tools and basic maths for precise measurements. Knowledge of materials properties and appropriate tooling selection for different applications.
