We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Opertator to join our dynamic machining team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, materials, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities
To Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
Interpret engineering drawings and set up machining processes accurately and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance on milling machines and troubleshoot any operational issues such as oil levels ect.
To resolve any issues related to machine performance and product quality.
Inspect your finished products to guarantee accuracy and conformance to the engineering drawings.
Collaborate with team members in a warehouse environment to ensure all operations run effectively.
Maintain a clean and safe working area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Mill Programmer/Operator or in a similar role within manufacturing.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate logic controllers effectively.
Basic mathematic skills for measurements and the calculations required in the machining processes.
Competent in using measuring tools such as vernier callipers and micrometers.
Familiarity with materials handling processes and warehouse operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and problem solving skills.
Familiar with using Heidenhein, Seimens, and Fanuc operating systems.
Ideal but not required - Experience in producing products for the recycling industry.
