Job description:

We have a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a skilled Woodworking CNC Operative with a minimum of 3 years' experience operating CNC routers (Pod & Rail / Flatbed) in a fast-paced production environment. You will be competent in machine setup, tooling maintenance and quality inspection, with a strong understanding of timber products, joinery processes and safe workshop practices.

Key Skills

CNC router operation (e.g., Biesse, Homag, SCM, AXYZ etc.) CAM software (e.g., ArtCAM, Fusion 360, VCarve, AlphaCAM) CAD reading & interpretation - review and understand technical drawings Machine setup & calibration Tooling changes and maintenance Operation of woodworking machinery (panel saw, edge bander, spindle moulder, thicknesser) would be an advantage Understanding of timber, MDF, plywood, laminate Use of measuring tools: calipers, tape, squares, verniers Quality control & finishing processes Committed to adhering to the highest health & safety standards

Personal attributes required:

Ability to work on own initiative with or without supervision

Desire to learn new skills and apply them where required

Positive attitude who is a resilient team player and takes great pride in their performance

Experience of using warehouse management systems to record and track work tasks - experience of SAP an advantage

What Harte can offer you:

The successful candidate will be employed on a 39 hour week, 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am - 3.15pm Friday, with a 30-minute paid lunch break. Overtime is available to meet production demands, and this is paid at flat rate.
