We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic eyewear manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the fabrication of eyewear parts. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and practical skills, making it essential for candidates to have experience with various tools and equipment used in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality control checks using basic maths to measure dimensions and tolerances. Fabricate parts using hand tools, mills, and other machinery as needed. Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in CNC operations. Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and calculations. Experience with materials handling, welding, and fabrication techniques is preferred. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
