A skilled and experienced

CNC Operator

is required to join our well-established local Joinery Company in Northamptonshire due to a significant increase of business and future proofing our operation for extra capacity.

We are a leading manufacturer of modern and innovative retail display units produced for major high street brands all across the UK! You will be joining a tight group of craftsmen working for a small but successful company who are responsible for many high-profile projects. The manufacture of bespoke cabinet and retail furniture items are the central core of this ever-developing joinery business.

This is a permanent CNC Operator position with any additional bench joinery experience being a distinct advantage. The position offers excellent working conditions & remuneration. The working hours are 8am - 5pm with overtime readily available through busy times.

As a CNC Operator with joinery experience you will require the following skills and experience;

A proven background and experience in Multi-head 3 - 5 axis CNC machines Experience in machining different substrates - wood, ply, mfc, mdf and plastics The ability to interpret technical drawings and review G coding (if required) Understanding of machine parameters, tooling, programming and processes. A proactive solution provider, able to contribute within a flexible team set-up Experience of working within a low volume batch environment Ability to read and understand joinery details and drawings Proactive nature and keen to work within a small, skilled team and take responsibility for the role. Experience in Edge Banders, panel saws and chop saws would be beneficial. Solid surface experience not a necessity but would be beneficial. Great attention to detail
The CNC Operator rate is dependent on experience.

Possible need to cover late shift under new building is in place.
