Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team manufacturing fire doors in our busy, fast paced factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining specifically wood based products on multi axis CNC machines, ideally within the fire door industry. This role requires you to have a strong understanding of tooling as well as the CNC machine itself and to have a 'can-do' attitude to problem solving and production output.
Duties
Operate Homag CNC machines, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications Program and set up machinery Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance Perform fabrication tasks, including milling routing and finishing Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality standards Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during machining processes
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical specifications Familiarity with tooling techniques Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 16.00-18.00 per hour
