We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components. Duties
Programme, operate, and monitor CNC machines using CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks and other relevant tools.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing of parts.
Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials in accordance with job requirements.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Handle materials efficiently, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
Utilise hand tools and welding equipment for assembly or minor modifications as required.
Conduct quality checks on machined parts, ensuring adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in fabrication, milling, or machining environments.
Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
Mechanical knowledge of tooling, materials handling, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances.
Experience with welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools is desirable.
Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials logistics is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
