Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to join one of our clients precision manufacturing team within Stockton-On-Tees.

You'll be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, operating CNC machines such as lathes, mills, or plasma cutters, and ensuring consistent output through careful monitoring and quality checks. This role demands attention to detail, good mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

The production of high quality steel components via the operation of CNC Machining Centres, inclusive of:

Operate CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding, or other equipment) according to established procedures. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional specifications. Perform basic machine adjustments, offsets, and tool changes as required. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Inspect quality of parts to maintain high standards. Inspect all equipment to ensure it's in a safe working condition

Requirements:

Experience with CNC milling or lathe machines. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings A keen eye for detail and good working standard / ethic NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or similar discipline would be beneficial but not essential Previous experience operating handheld tools would be beneficial but not essential. Previous experience using engineering drawings would be beneficial but not essential.

Day Shift

- Monday - Thursday 06.00am - 14.15pm Friday 06.00am - 12.45pm

Back Shift (If Required)

- Monday - Thursday 14:15pm - 22:30pm Friday 12.45pm - 19:30pm

Pay Rates:

Starting at 12.37 depending on experience. Shift allowance and overtime available.
