Cnc Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to join our client's precision manufacturing team based in Stockton-on-Tees.
You'll be part of a fast-paced production environment, operating CNC machinery such as lathes, mills, or plasma cutters to produce high-quality steel components. The role involves monitoring machine performance, ensuring precision, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator -- or someone with a strong mechanical or engineering background who is eager to learn and develop their CNC skills through structured on-the-job training.
The production of high quality steel components via the operation of CNC Machining Centres, inclusive of:
Operate CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding, or other equipment) according to established procedures. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional specifications. Perform basic machine adjustments, offsets, and tool changes as required. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Inspect quality of parts to maintain high standards. Inspect all equipment to ensure it's in a safe working condition
Requirements:
Experience with CNC milling or lathe machines. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings A keen eye for detail and good working standard / ethic NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or similar discipline would be beneficial but not essential Previous experience operating handheld tools would be beneficial but not essential. Previous experience using engineering drawings would be beneficial but not essential.

:Day Shift
- Monday - Thursday 06.00am - 14.15pm Friday 06.00am - 12.45pmBack Shift (If Required)
- Monday - Thursday 14:15pm - 22:30pm Friday 12.45pm - 19:30pmPay Rates:
Starting at 12.37 depending on experience. Shift allowance and overtime available.

Pay: 12.37-13.51 per hour
