Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate precision components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling, tooling, and mechanical knowledge, as well as proficiency in CAD software. The CNC Operator will ensure that all operations are performed safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to produce components as per engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Perform quality checks on finished products using measuring tools to verify adherence to specifications. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilise hand tools and logic controllers effectively during the fabrication process.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in CAD software. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and tooling practices. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Ability to fabricate components and perform welding tasks when necessary. Competence in using hand tools and operating logic controllers effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
