CNC Operator / Stone Mason

Full job description

CNC machine operator required for busy stone company, specialising in commercial and retail installations based in Epping, Essex.

Beneficial if applicant also has some experience in manual masonry skills also.

Please ONLY APPLY if you have the CNC experience within the STONE MASONRY industry we are looking for.

Candidates must have around 5 years previous experience in the Stone Masonry industry.

Candidates must have the Right To Work in the UK.

Products include:

We work with Granite, Dekton, Quartz, Marble and Limestone.

Worktops, Vanity Units, Flooring, Staircases, complete Bathrooms, and bespoke stone projects: restaurants, bars, offices, tiling, external large / small projects including copping stones, cladding, planters, steps, etc.

Skills must include:

CNC Saw & CNC profiling machine operation, drawing in CAD & CAM.

Manual masonry skills also a benefit to assist rest of the factory where needed.

Responsibilities include:

Monitoring jobs as they are received into the factory, drawing up the jobs in the CAD/CAM software, operating the machines, quality control, machinery maintenance, stock / consumable management / ordering, cutting plans, improving systems and production efficiencies, housekeeping and general other duties.

Health & Safety

is an important part of the daily operational processes. Review, monitor and ensure all health and safety requirements are followed, reporting non-conformances where needed.

The ideal candidate will work well within a team and be liaising with both the factory team and the templating/install team.

Job Overview / Benefits:

- Salary: 160 / day + depending on experience

- 40 hours available, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, plus overtime including weekends when required.
