Cnc Operator
Job Description
Midland Stone Centre Ltd based near Kettering have an opening for a CNC machine operator to work in our busy modern stone fabrication factory. The successful candidate will also in time have the opportunity to operate our fully automated CNC line, as well as a diverse array of machinery, including our state-of-the-art 5-axis Flow Waterjet and edge polishing lines. We produce bespoke stonework for both domestic and commercial applications in a variety material. We are looking for a key player, who is hard-working, with a passion for quality manufacturing to join our team.
What you will do:
Operate the CNC machine for
granite and quartz fabrication
by editing the program effectively.
Read and interpret
technical drawings
to ensure precision.Set up tools, load materials, and monitor machine operations for
optimal performance.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and maintain
high-quality standards.
Collaborate with production teams to
meet deadlines and improve efficiency.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience
operating CNC machines in thestone fabrication or similar industry.
Ability to
read and interpret technical drawings
.Strong knowledge of
machine settings, tooling, and material handling.
Attention to detail and commitment to
quality workmanship.
Ability to work
independently and as part of a team.
Some experience using CAD/CAM packages preferred
Mechanical/Machine Maintenance background an advantage
Full training will be provided. Pay commensurate with experience
