CNC Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating CNC machinery. You will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components with precision, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, as well as proficiency in using hand tools and understanding logic controllers.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications and engineering drawings. Fabricate components by interpreting CAD designs and executing machining processes. Assemble finished products, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment. Use tooling effectively to achieve precise measurements and finishes on machined parts. Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and resolve any operational issues. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues. Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting technical drawings. Experience with materials handling and operating hand tools safely. Understanding of logic controllers and their application in CNC operations. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
