Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, mechanical knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure precision and efficiency in production. Duties

Set up CNC machines according to specifications, including selecting tooling and programming parameters Operate CNC machinery to produce components with precision and consistency Monitor machine operation during production runs, making adjustments as necessary Perform routine maintenance and inspections on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance Conduct quality checks on finished parts, ensuring they meet specified tolerances and standards Assist with fabrication tasks such as grinding, welding, or assembly when required Use hand tools and basic measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality of parts Maintain a clean and organised work area adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in CNC machining or related fabrication roles Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of sheet metal work, tooling, and machining processes Familiarity with hand tools, grinding, welding, and assembly techniques Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and programming adjustments Knowledge of fabrication methods including sheet metal work and component assembly Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Pay: 12.21-17.75 per hour
