The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and running CNC programs to produce precise joinery components for staircases, doors, and bespoke furniture.
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate the
CNC Machining
.
Produce high-quality components for
timber staircases, doors, window frames, panels, handrails, and balustrades
.
Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM files, and cutting lists.
Ensure accuracy, precision, and high-quality finishes on all components.
Perform machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
Work closely with the design and production teams to optimise efficiency and material use.
Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and tool organisation.
Ensure production deadlines are met while maintaining excellent standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a
CNC Programmer/Operator in a joinery or woodworking environment
.
Solid knowledge of
staircase, door, and window manufacturing processes
.
Proficiency in
woodworking CNC software
.
Ability to read and understand
technical joinery drawings and specifications
.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of workshop safety standards.
Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
