CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator- Days

06.00am - 14.30pm- Monday to Friday.

16.00 per hour rising to 16.98 per hour (dependant on experience)

Summary

As a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator, you will be integral to our manufacturing team, focusing on the production of high-quality fasteners. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your role involves programming and operating CNC machinery with a strong emphasis on mechanical knowledge and fabrication techniques. Utilizing premium skills, you will ensure precision in turning processes. Your relevant experience with hand tools, materials handling, and basic math will support efficient operations and contribute to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Responsibilities:

1. To program CNC machinery

2. To operate CNC machines with Fanuc controls

3. To work to customer drawings and specifications with the minimum of supervision following training

4. To work to tight tolerances and check your own work

5. To work on your own initiative and understand the manufacturing processes

6. Report any tooling required to Supervisor

7. Prove out programs at the machine ensuring the highest quality is maintained at all times

8. Keep a clean and manageable working area

9. Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development

10. To take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate
