CNC Recruitment are seeking a talented CNC Operator to join a highly prestigious, inspirational construction company, working across a dazzling range of sectors including retail, leisure, film & TV, museums, public art, and marketing. Location - Bristol

Working hours - Day Shift, 40 hours per week

Hourly rate - DOE



Responsibilities:



Programming and operating 3 & 4 axis CNC machines on various materials (timbers, plastics, thin metals) Translating 3D CAD drawings into precise, cut-ready files Editing CAD files to factor in tolerances and material efficiency Optimising layouts for economical use of materials Collaborating with design & production teams, providing vital feedback on manufacturability Inspecting, cleaning, and preparing cut elements for next-stage assembly and finishing Managing workflow to meet production schedules Performing routine maintenance and keeping the workspace safe and organised Helping forecast material demand and maintaining stock levels

Requirements:



Minimum 2 years' CNC machining experience Proficiency with 2D & 3D CAD software (e.g., Rhino 8, Solidworks, AutoCAD) Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent time management and teamwork skills A motivated self-starter with a positive attitude Basic physical fitness to handle manual materials safely

Bonus Skills:



Experience with laser cutters and/or 3D printers Previous fabrication and assembly knowledge Forklift certification
