Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and operation, with experience in various machining processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Summary

Set up and operate CNC machines safely and efficiently. Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. Produce and update setting sheets. Identify appropriate tooling, gauges, and fixtures required for production. Run and prove first-off components, ensuring accuracy and quality. Check first-off components before production and assist operators with machining issues. Use our standard measuring equipment to inspect components and ensure they meet specifications. Identify and resolve issues with non-conforming parts. Continuously look for ways to improve procedures and reduce cycle times.

Workshop & Safety Standards

Work safely in line with company health & safety policies. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including machines and surrounding areas. Report and request reordering of consumable items when needed. Load and unload raw materials and finished components as required.

Desirable Skills

Experience in a metalworking or manufacturing environment. Ability to read engineering drawings. Basic knowledge of CNC setting, and operating. Familiarity with Fanuc controls. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production schedules. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: 13.77-14.20 per hour
