Cnc Setter / Operator Back Shift Fastners
Job Description
CNC Setter/Operator- Back Shift- 14.30pm to 01.00am Monday to Thursday.
14.00 per hour rising to 15.00 per hour plus 1.00 shift allowance per hour worked (dependant on experience)
Fasteners Experience an advantage
Responsibilities:
1. To operate and set CNC machines with Fanuc controls
2. To work to customer drawings and specifications with the minimum of supervision following training
3. To work to tight tolerances and check your own work
4. To work on your own initiative and understand the manufacturing processes
5. Report any tooling required to Supervisor
6. Keep a clean and manageable working area
7. Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development
8. To take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate
Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position
Summary
As a CNC Setter / Operator on the Back Shift, you will be integral to the production of fasteners, ensuring precision and quality in machining processes. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and premium skills in turning, to set up and operate CNC machines effectively. Your relevant experience with hand tools, materials handling, and basic math will support efficient operations.
