We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate CNC turning machines effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of machined components, contributing to our commitment to excellence in production.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC turning machines according to specifications. Interpret engineering drawings Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machining processes and tooling. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of logic controllers. Experience in materials handling and understanding different types of materials used in machining. Familiarity with tooling techniques and the ability to weld when necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
