We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in programming CNC turning machines. This role is essential for producing precision components and requires a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Turner will be responsible for ensuring that all parts meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Set up and adjust machine tools, including logic controllers, to ensure optimal performance. Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working order. Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and organisation. Conduct quality checks on finished products using basic maths skills to verify dimensions and tolerances. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Turner or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery. Familiarity with materials handling procedures and safety practices in a warehouse setting. Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and calculations during production processes. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
