Castle Precision Engineering is an innovative company, manufacturing critical precision components in exacting quality standards for the aerospace industry.

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced time-served or semi-skilled CNC Turner, to join our team based in the south side of Glasgow.

The role is Monday - Friday dayshift, with 4-day and 5-day flexible working patterns, to be agreed. There is also some rotational nightshift working.

Role Description

Produce right first-time components, from customer's drawings, to required cycle times. Maintain a cost-effective standard of production. Improve production/manufacturing methods. Liaise effectively with other members of the department and company. Comply with Company's Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.

Essential Experience & Qualities

Have a recognised apprenticeship in an engineering discipline or extensive experience as a Turner within engineering. Experience of using Fanuc controls on various machines, including vertical borers, lathes, mill turns and 5 axis lathes. Be able to communicate at all levels of the business.

Desirable Experience

Knowledge of SPC, lean practices. Good PC skills.
