Cowie Engineering Ltd is recruiting a time-served CNC Turner to join our growing engineering team.

The role involves producing high-quality precision components from a wide range of materials, working to tight tolerances and exacting standards within a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate 2 axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls

Read and interpret engineering drawings

Create, edit and understand CNC programs

Select tooling and apply correct cutting conditions

Manufacture components to tight tolerances in a high-precision environment

Work with a range of materials, from composites, steels through to high-temperature alloys

What We're Looking For:

Time-served CNC Turner

Proven experience working 2 axis CNC lathes

Strong editing, setting and operating capabilities

High attention to detail and commitment to quality

What We Offer:

Permanent, full-time position

Days/Nightshift available

Excellent rates + overtime paid at 1.5x

OTE up to 70,000 per annum (based on regular overtime availability)

Regular overtime available

Training in ISO and offline programming
