CNC Turner Setter/Operator (Mazatrol & Fanuc - Citizen Lathes)

Job Location: Near Walsall

Salary: Up to 36,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Day Shift Only)

We are a leading precision engineering firm located near Walsall, specializing in high-quality components for various industries. We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator with expertise in Mazatrol and Fanuc control systems, preferably with experience on Citizen Lathes.

Main Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC lathes utilizing Mazatrol and Fanuc controls

- Manufacture precise components on Citizen Lathes within tight tolerances

- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools

- Adjust tooling, speeds, feeds, and offsets for accuracy

- Make minor program edits (programming experience is advantageous)

- Collaborate with teams to promote continuous improvement

- Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Ideal Candidate:

- Proven experience in CNC turning with Mazatrol and/or Fanuc controls

- Practical experience with Citizen Lathes (preferred)

- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation

- Good knowledge of tooling, machining principles, and cutting parameters

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

- Team player with the ability to work independently

- Programming experience is a plus but not essential
