We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in turning machining processes, with the ability to set, program (using one CNC) and operate CNC machinery effectively. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components, cutting exotic materials up to 5M long. The successful applicant will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and specifications, ensuring that all products meet the required standards.
Responsibilities
Be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
Establish tooling requirements.
Be able to read, understand and write CNC programs in FANUC this is a must.
Be able to generate programs offline using CAPT Cad Cam system or One CNC.
Be able to use and read a range of measuring equipment.
Experience of cutting exotic materials (super duplex, duplex, 718, x750, Hastelloy, Monel etc).
Use of steadies to machine components up to 4M long.
To ensure supplied product gives customer satisfaction.
Documenting all Required Data and Reporting in correct manner.
Ensuring inspection equipment in a known state of calibration is used for checking customer product.
For ensuring that the unique part identity and status of products handled is maintained
For working safely and following company safety codes.
Must be time served (NVQ 3 or equivalent). Experience in a previous or similar position (5 years minimum)
Have a good understanding of ISO 9001/2015 quality systems.
Good planning and organisation skills along with good communications skills both with peers and management.
Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge.
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly One CNC, is highly desirable.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
