Job Description

We are looking for a CNC Turning Setter/Operator to join our CNC team. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team working on a wide variety of machined parts.

Our machines include Nakamura (Fanuc control) and Mazak (Mazatrol control).

Role Responsibilities:

Mechanical set up and operation of CNC turning centres machines for small batch runs (typically 100-500 parts); Measuring machined parts and adjusting the machine offsets to ensure the accuracy of finished components; Monitoring part quality during production runs; and Keeping the machine and the section clean and tidy.

Candidate Requirements:

Experienced at setting and adjusting CNC turning centres Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and dimensional tolerances Good communication with team members and management Meticulous approach to accuracy and quality Knowledge of SolidWorks and CAMWorks is an advantage

Job Particulars:

Clean, safe and warm working environment On the job training provided Paid AM and PM break 07:45-16:45 Mon-Thu (30min lunch), and 07:45-12:45 Fri. Wages reviewed annually Holiday entitlement is 25 days + bank holidays. We have ample car parking available in our private car park on site.
