Job Title: CNC Wood Machinist

Location: West Bromwich

Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 5:00pm

Friday - 7:30am to 12:00pm

Pay Rate: upto 13.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client based in West Bromwich for an experienced

CNC Wood Machinist

to join their growing team.

Our client is specifically looking for someone to

run their main CNC machine - an SCM M100

.

CNC operating experience is essential

, and any ability to

program or swap tools

would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the SCM M100 CNC wood machine to produce quality wooden components. Monitor machine output and maintain high standards of product quality. Carry out tool changes and assist with basic programming and machine maintenance. Collaborate with the wider production team to meet output targets. Keep the work area clean, safe, and well-organized.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience operating CNC wood machinery is essential.

Programming skills and tool-changing experience are highly desirable. A valid FLT licence would be an advantage but is not required. Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to work.

What's on Offer:

Upto 13.50 per hour. Monday to Friday hours with an early finish on Fridays. Long-term opportunity with a growing and stable manufacturing company. Friendly and supportive working environment, with training where required.
