Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Woodworking Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the processes and be proficient in operating CNC Woodworking machinery. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality stairs, door sets etc while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in all produced parts Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to set up machining processes Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise

Use hand tools for assembly and adjustments as needed Collaborate with team members to optimise production workflows Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role within a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for design purposes Experience with the tooling processes Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, including materials handling capabilities Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work
