About the Role - Coachbuilder

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced

Coachbuilder

to join our busy mechanical engineering team in Basildon. We'll provide your overalls and equipment needed to get the job done.



This is a great opportunity to work on our state-of-the-art electric bus fleet!



Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


Conducting accident bodywork repairs Window repairs Diagnosing body faults Performing collision and vandalism repairs Addressing routine inspection findings and defect cards Painting minor bodywork repairs Handling fibreglass bodywork Carrying out repairs and maintenance to interior body components Documenting repairs for third-party insurance claims

Working Hours:

39 hours per week, 4 days over 7, day shift - working days can be discussed at interview

Salary:

23.69 p/h 48,043 p/a with a weekend premium rate of 24.72 per hour if your shifts run over a weekend

About you

Do you have a minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent, with proven coach building experience? Do you have welding experience? Full driving licence is preferred Have you working experience in vehicle accident repair and painting for PSV/HGV vehicles? A PCV licence isn't essential, we can support you in gaining it
