Ledwood are seeking a qualified and experienced

Coatings Inspector

to be based onsite at

Hinkley Point C (HPC), Somerset.

Your role is to ensure the quality and compliance of protective coatings applied to mechanical components and structures, in line with company and client nuclear industry standards.

Your Role will be to:

Conduct inspections of surface preparation and coating applications on mechanical and structural components. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation. Liaise with project engineers, contractors, and quality assurance teams. Monitor environmental conditions and ensure proper curing and application procedures. Identify and report non-conformances and assist in corrective actions. Support audits and quality reviews as required. Ideally where time permits and should you have the correct CSWIP qualification / experience asssit with QA/QC Inspections

Requirements:

One of the following from the below list:


NACE Level 2 ICORR Inspector Level 2 AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance) Certificate


AND



Valid CCNSG safety passport

More Information about the Project:

Hours: 10 hours per day, 10 days on 4 days off



Rates: 31.27 basic rate ph + potential 4.69 Bonus (Overtime rates are available after 38 hours).



Rates above are based on PAYE weekly paid - other payment means can be reviewed.



Lodge allowance 50.81 per night and or Travel Allowances are payable (All rates/ allowances are in line with the ECSA Site Agreement for PAYE payment)



To gain access to site, all personnel will be required to complete a BPSS Application including DBS / ID checks.





To allow us to screen your application, we will ask for you to provide your Competency Certificates & Right to Work in the U.K Documents. This will assist our recruitment/ onboarding process.
