Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

Skills

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods. A friendly and approachable demeanour with a genuine passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
