Job Summary



We're hiring a Coded welder to help with a number of tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding techniques, particularly in TIG welding, and have experience with various materials and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities



TIG Weld to a 6G standard and MMA welding of carbon steel and stainless steel plus Flux Core Welding of plate Welding projects by using engineering drawings and completed assemblies, calculating requirements TIG Weld components Maintains safe work environment by following procedures and policies. Accomplishes manufacturing requirements by completing work to required standard within the specified deadline. Essential Welding and fabrication - TIG in both carbon and stainless steel. MMA and MIG would be an advantage but not essential. Ability to read and analyse engineering drawings Must have fabricating experience, JIG work only is not suitable. Ability to construct and fabricate products to required standards H&S awareness
On-the-job training will be provided but good experience of working in an industrial environment is essential. If you can learn new skills, problem solve and can work using your own initiative, then this may be the role for you.

At interview, you will be required to complete a Pipe Butt Weld test. Please bring with you your own PPE/Equipment to complete this test piece.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 16.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
