Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team. We are a nationwide mechanical installer mainly in the process cooling industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in welding and installing piping systems. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring that our piping systems are built to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Pay is bi-weekly hourly paid through CIS, rate is dependable on experience. Over night allowance and milage expenses are also paid.

Overtime is available.

This position calls for a somebody who is willing to work away from home most weeks.

Job description

Must be able to work in a team to conduct large and small pipework installations over the UK. Must be capable of welding thin wall (1.5 - 2mm wall) stainless steel pipe system IPAF license preferable. CSCS or CCNSG required. Must have full driving licence. Must be able to work under own initiative.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install piping systems according to specifications and latest issued drawings. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. Collaborate with other tradespeople and management to ensure seamless integration of piping systems within projects. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Proven experience as a Pipe Welder in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.
