Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques, particularly TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework, and will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components to meet precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with various hand and power tools.

Duties

Perform TIG welding on carbon and stainless steel pipework, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. Fabricate pipework and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and adherence to safety standards. Assemble parts and structures using hand tools and power tools. Work to high standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience in TIG welding, specifically for pipework. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings. Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
