Transvac are world leaders in providing custom designed Ejector systems for the process industries. Having supplied thousands of Ejectors, Transvac have over 50 years' experience, backed by a comprehensive list of world-wide references in a wide range of process industries - including oil & gas, water, chemical, nuclear, food and pharmaceuticals.

As both a designer and a manufacturer, Transvac have full control over process and mechanical design, supply of raw materials, manufacturing, scheduling, and testing. With all procedures certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2015, accreditation to Module H of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and CE marking, where appropriate, the quality of the final product is assured. Transvac are also 1st Point Assessment and Achilles registered.

Our team requires a coded welder to carry out a variety of key tasks.

Being multi-skilled, he / she will have experience with pipe fit-ups and a variety of welding processes.

Responsibilities and requirements:

You will be fabricating and welding various items, so experience in the industry is a must (Previously carried out coding's in accordance with ASME / EN/ISO). To produce goods of the highest standards of quality and accuracy to the required dimensions, within the timescales specified. Setup equipment and weld parts using TIG/MMA/MIG/MAG. Sub-arc beneficial but not essential. Experience working with various grades of material i.e. Stainless steel, Low Temp. Carbon steel and Duplex is essential. Following QA documents i.e. WPS's, Weld Maps, Quality Plans. Experience of fabricating and welding of pipe work and vessels for the process, Petro-chemical and offshore industries in accordance with International standards. Experience of working to X-Ray standard. To be able to read, understand, and follow all Safety, Quality, and Standard Operating Procedures including Engineering / Fabrication Drawings.
The working hours are 06:55 - 15:25 Monday to Thursday and 06:55 - 12:55 on Fridays.

If overtime is required, it is paid at the following rates:

Hourly Rate + 1/2 for Monday - Saturday Hourly Rate x 2 for Sunday
