StudyBox is a tuition centre, specialising in Maths, English, Science and Coding.

To be eligible for an interview you must:

Have a 7, 8 or a 9 in Maths at GCSE Have knowledge and experience in Scratch and Python Live locally to Sutton SM1 2SW Have availability from 9:15am-2pm on Saturdays

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Saturday Tutor to support students in achieving academic success, particularly in Maths GCSE preparation as well as teaching the Kids Coding Club, using Scratch and Python. In this role, you'll create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters confidence and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored tutoring Math sessions and fun Coding lessons Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) Track student progress, identify learning goals, and provide regular feedback to students and parents Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere that encourages academic and personal development
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with school-aged children A strong understanding of the UK curriculum, especially GCSE-level content Develop personalised lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for education and a commitment to making a difference

Job Types: Part-time, Graduate

Pay: 8.00-13.00 per hour
