Coding Club Tutor
Job Description
Code Kids is the UK's leading technology and creative design course provider for children ages 6 to 14. We run after-school coding workshops in schools across Cobham/Leatherhead. We are a cool start-up company with a mission to provide affordable, leading STEM education to children.
You are expected to be available in-person for at least 2 days a week during Term time. The work schedule is primarily between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm. This is the time when we run our after-school clubs.
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable people interested in tutoring or technology. This is a perfect role for any student or graduate seeking extra income in a rewarding and stimulating environment. Your travel time and costs will be reimbursed.
Requirements
Graduate or study at a leading university. Extreme reliability. Attention to the safeguarding of children. An Enhanced DBS certificate ( we will also obtain the certificate on your behalf) Energy and enthusiasm Strong values and an interest in education Comfortable in dealing with parents and kids, highly organised and enthusiastic Keen interest in technology and ability to grasp technical concepts quickly to lead sessions Coding knowledge is notnecessary - you will need to attend training sessions Be flexible and willing to travel.
