Code Kids is the UK's leading provider of technology and creative design courses for children ages 6 to 14. We run after school coding workshops in schools across London. We are a cool start-up company with a mission to provide affordable, leading STEM education to children.

You are expected to be available for a minimum of at least 2 days a week and Saturday mornings. The work schedule is primarily between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm. This is the time when we run our after-school clubs sessions in CROYDON, CATERHAM, REDHILL, COBHAM. We are hiring for various locations.

Successful candidates also have the opportunity to work on a full time basis during the holidays in our camp settings, or online teaching where we can offer you up to 20 hours a week of paid work during term time.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable people who have an interest in tutoring or technology. This is a perfect role for a trainee teacher or Bachelors or Graduate level student seeking extra income in a rewarding and stimulating environment. All travel costs will be reimbursed.

Requirements

PGCE, Graduate or PhD level . Extreme reliability. Attention to safeguarding of children. An Enhanced DBS certificate ( we will also obtain the certificate on your behalf) Energy and ethusiasm Strong values and an interest in education Comfortable in dealing with parents and kids, highly organised and enthusiastic Keen interest in technology and be able to grasp technical concepts quickly in order to lead sessions Coding knowledge is notnecessary - you will need to attend training sessions Be flexible and willing to travel.
