Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or baked goods as required. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of work. Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and processing payments using point-of-sale systems. Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service. Keep the work area clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies throughout shifts. Assist in opening or closing procedures as needed, including cleaning equipment and restocking supplies. Engage with customers in a friendly manner to create a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is desirable. Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for coffee, beverages, and delivering excellent customer experiences is highly valued.
