We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Requirements
Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Understanding of food safety practices is essential.
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition towards customers.

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
