Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food and drink preparation processes.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions with precision.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any queries or special requests.
Keep the work area clean, organised, and stocked with supplies to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including light snack or pastry service.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
Previous experience as a
Barista
or in a similar customer-facing food service role is preferred.
Knowledge of
food safety
standards and procedures is essential.
Experience in
serving
customers efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
Basic
food preparation
skills are desirable.
Good
time management
skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours effectively.
Basic
maths
skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong organisational skills to keep the workspace tidy and well-stocked.
