Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure all food safety standards are met during food preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Engage with customers to take orders accurately and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions and manage the till with basic math skills for accurate billing. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies to ensure availability. Uphold the cafe's standards of quality and presentation in all food and beverage offerings.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
