We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting with various tasks in our coffee shop. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks Assist with food preparation and ensure all items meet food safety standards Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and addressing customer inquiries Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including seating areas and workstations Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy periods Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring all requirements are met for successful service Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe environment is preferred Barista experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety practices is essential Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.60-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
